The SDC Floating Roof Drain System is engineered to address the drainage challenges of floating-roof storage tanks. It combines the flexibility of hose-based drainage with the structural strength, positive drainage characteristics and durability of rigid pipe systems.
It is a steel-pipe floating roof drain system incorporating specially designed flexible joints capable of accommodating a wide range of operating and service conditions. Its straight-line configuration provides effective and positive drainage while minimising mechanical stresses and maintenance requirements.
The system can be engineered for oil, petroleum, petrochemical and industrial storage tanks, providing an arrangement for collecting and transferring rainwater and other accumulated liquids from floating roofs to the designated drainage system.
